Our Mission

Addressing the need..

The pressures of daily living have increased exponentially, taking its toll across all age groups. There is much evidence proving that a greater number of adults are needing psychiatric intervention because of an increase in the prevalence of depression and anxiety, while there has been a significant increase in the incidence among children. Along with that South Africa has a high incidence of domestic violence, victims of crime, school bullying all resulting in an increase in the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Our Mission is to develop a working farm that will allow us to action our Vision which is to create holistic, integrated community-based support programmes for people in vulnerable groups such as Depression and Anxiety sufferers, PTSD sufferers as in the case of victims of domestic violence as well as youth at risk to mention a few.

Ultimately the community of micro businesses, once fully functional, will empower our NPO with sustainable income, thus moving away from traditional fund raising to survive and it must be an example to the rest of the world how to:

  • Live and work in harmony no matter the cultural background
  • How to build and uplift the community from both a human and animal welfare perspective
  • How to practise self-sustainability
  • How to live in an ecologically proactive way to preserve our environment
